Last night was not a good night for mommy, daddy, or Luke. Joe ate some cheesecake that apparently had gone bad because he was throwing up half the night. I guess his noise was disturbing Luke because he woke up at 10:45, 12:30, 2:30, and 5:30. I thought maybe he didn't like his new mattress so I took it out hoping that would help.....it didn't. So neither mommy or daddy got much sleep; daddy cause he didn't feel good, and mommy cause I had to feed the baby every time he woke up. Surprisingly, I didn't feel too bad this morning but around one o'clock I hit a brick wall. I was so tired, and Luke was wide eyed and bushy tailed. *sigh* I finally laid him in his bed at around 1:15 thinking he would scream and not go to sleep, but to my surprise after about 5 minutes of fusing he fell asleep. WOW!
I was anxious to get my necklace restrung, so I did that quickly and just as I laid down to take a nap.......WAAAAAAAH. *sigh* So we got up and eventually he took a bottle and fell asleep. He slept from 2:30 to 6. He slept through us going to get Gracie and take her to school and he continued to sleep after we got home. He did request a diaper change and a little bottle and right back to sleep he went. Must be nice to be able to sleep whenever, oh wait....3 months ago I know how that felt! HAHA. Oh well, I guess I can sleep when I'm dead.
He is getting very excited to fly out to Arizona to see Grandma and Grandpa. I am getting very anxious and nervous. I don't like flying to begin with, and now I have to worry about flying and him. I just hope he doesn't scream the whole way. If he does, we will be driving back I think. We will be in Arizona September 3-10. Then grandma and grandpa will be out in October to visit and we plan on going to the Covered Bridge Festival. We are so excited to see friends and family. And I know I can say I am excited for the shopping. Who me? Ya I know....I have a problem. HAHA
I am hoping that I will be able to sleep like little man is in this picture tonight. He might have a slightly crabby mommy tomorrow if I don't get a little more sleep tonight :-)

Grandma and Grandpa can't wait for our Illinois kids to arrive. We're fixing up the guest room and stocking up on baby supplies.
ReplyDeleteWe'll pray you here safely and with a pleasant flight.
