Hand prints on my heart

A couple of days ago, I was feeding Luke, and he has gotten to the stage where he is exploring everything with his hands and I was holding his bottle and he just rested his hand on my wrist.  I'm sure as any mom knows simple little things like this just melt your heart, and that's exactly what it did.  Nothing makes me happier than seeing my little boy learn new things and explore new things right in front of my eyes.  I think its a feeling only a mother can know to watch something that you created learn and thrive.  Luke loves to put his hands on my face and just grab my nose or eyes, and even my tongue when I stick it out at him.  He also loves to stick his own hands in his mouth.  They are always in there!  Little does this little boy know how much of an effect he has on me.  I am wrapped around his little finger already.  I never knew a heart could love someone so much who I have only known for 3 1/2 months!  He sure is leaving his little hand prints on my heart!

  1. Handprints on my heart is such a beautiful and apt description of holding your baby.

You and Luke have put handprints on my heart, right next to those of Joe, Rick, and Gracie, too!

Thank you, Sarah, for your loving heart! Such a beautiful and cherished addition to our family.
